Marblehead's Corinthians - a publication of the new history of the Club written by Wooden Boat Magainze editor Matt P. Murphy - celebrates the Corinthian Yacht Club's legacy as one of the country's best and most influential yacht clubs. The book parallels the history of small boat design and racing in this country.
The book was officially launched in a gala celebration Saturday, April 8, 2007 in front of nearly 300 guests at the CYC.
An inspiring video to celebrate the CYC's history debuted at the party. Featuring annotated photos from the book set to time period-appropriate music, the video was produced by Club member Marin Misoda and includes Bill Larkin playing "The Corinthian One Step" from 1914. The video is featured below.
