I am delighted to share with you that the Corinthian Yacht Club waterfront will begin a phased opening this weekend. Members who currently have CYC dinghy permits will be allowed access to the floats for tie-ups beginning Saturday, May 23, and in accordance with Governor Baker‘s announcement last Monday, our launch service will begin on Monday, May 25 at 8AM!
Of course, we are operating under very strict protocols determined by the State of Massachusetts and the Town of Marblehead, the details of which are attached to this email. Please be sure to read the document carefully. We are doing everything possible to keep our members and staff safe and your cooperation is essential and greatly appreciated.
I’m also excited to announce that we will begin take-out food service starting this Friday night. We will be offering curbside pick-up through Sunday and the chef has even created a special barbecue menu for Sunday evening (please note the Friday deadline for ordering).
This is the first of several announcements this week – so please be on the lookout for more. As we begin to open the club and get the season underway, there is lots to communicate. As I have mentioned previously this will be a process that we must take one step at a time.
I appreciate your patience and understanding as we start to ramp up in this new environment. There are sure to be some hiccups, but I’m very excited to begin the season and hope you are too!
Stay healthy and well,
Annie Harris, Commodore
