About Us

The Corinthian Yacht Club (CYC) is a full-service club offering members and visiting yachtsmen a broad range of sailing and racing events. For more than 125 years, the CYC has made yachting, racing and cruising history. The CYC also offers members tennis, swimming, dining and social activities in a vibrant and interactive community. The beautiful clubhouse on Marblehead Neck and the glorious view from the porch enhance members' enjoyment of the club.

OUR CLUB MISSION

The Corinthian Yacht Club culture is friendly and welcoming, values families, and offers a wide range of boating, recreational, and social activities for its members and for members at different times in their lives. We support diversity in our membership and staff and are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and accepting environment. We recognize that the success of our Club depends on the commitment of a dedicated group of volunteers and employees who strive to provide the best member experience. They are all an important part of our family. As a good citizen and neighbor, the CYC also reaches out to the local, regional, and global communities of sailors as appropriate.

Sailing Tradition

Throughout its history, the CYC has honored sailing traditions such as the annual cruise and regattas such as Marblehead Race Week and the Corinthian Classic Yacht Regatta. It has also established new ones such as a 2v2 team racing regatta. Today, our active family community enjoys not only sailing and racing, but also swimming in a state-of-the-art pool, fishing, tennis, dining and social events. The Corinthian Yacht Club was founded to create an environment for competitive small boat sailing. While there are many ways for members to enjoy time on the water, the CYC honors its traditions by providing and promoting opportunities to experience sailing.

Whether competitive racing, recreational day sailing, or cruising, the CYC supports the creation of sailing opportunities. This includes experiences for all ages and levels of experience from beginners all the way through the highest levels of competition. While we believe that vibrant sailing programs are essential to the long-term vitality of the Corinthian, we also support our members and their families in their active pursuit of a broad range of waterfront and other recreational activities. We strive for excellence and take great pride in CYC successes across all of our programs.
